RE: Building Designers BRIEF Australia (Autumn 2010)
I just heard from our technical department that they were swamped with requests for spec manuals today! They asked me what I had done, and, there you go, it must be you guys! It’s nice to get a direct response to advertising: doesn’t happen all that often.

Brilliant! Loved it! Isn’t is nice to get some well thought out comment that delves a little deeper than the sensationalist crap we are dealt from the mainstream media. Dick is obviously well involved in the behind the scenes processes. Pity Some ‘expert comment’ from the likes of Dick isn’t elicited by the media.

For some reason I am humming Beyond the Yellow Brick Road as I zip along in Sydney. No doubt you guys have affected me subliminally. The conference was very well organised and well attended. I thought that the sponsor booth intro was very good and the major sponsors did receive good exposure through the spruiking. Aleshia and Gemma were terrific and were especially good in theme on design awards night. Lots of hard work, ladies, and well done.

Thank you for a very good conference. I know I personally got a lot of valuable information and advice from all the speakers. The conference was dynamic and I was not bored at any time as I have been in other conferences. On the contrary, I was eager for the next session. I think what the BDAWA achieved here was a credit to our association and has set a new standard.

Thanks for a great conference with a wonderful sense of community among the members. We certainly felt at home with the delegates and could not have found a more suitable group than the BDAA to launch our new Xpress series products for the smaller firms. We look forward to the 2010 conference and seeing the BDAA crew again.

Congratulations on the recently held national conference in Perth. Not only was it wonderful to show off our home city to our interstate members, it was a delight to meet such talented people. The national awards night was a brilliant presentation of what our designers are producing and the Brief magazine I hope can go online so we can see more of those gorgeous photographs. This was a first time for Glosswood to sponsor such an event and we are very happy with the support the BDA members have shown.
